Message and Background
The iCROWN (Infectious Disease Clinical Research Network) project was launched in FY2024 as a further development of the National Repository of the Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Disease Databank (REBIND), which was established in FY2021. Here, we introduce the background of the project.
Implementation Structure
The iCROWN (Infectious Disease Clinical Research Network) project builds the clinical research infrastructure for infectious diseases and provides the samples and data gathered in its repository. Here, we introduce what the project does and how it is organized.
Participating Medical Institutions
As of the start of FY2026, medical institutions participating in iCROWN are located across all 47 prefectures, forming a nationwide network.
