vk_spacer-type-margin-top\"><div class=\"vk_block-margin-md--margin-top\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Utilization Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The iCROWN repository collects and stores processed specimens, clinical information, and genomic analysis data derived from specimens collected from research implementing institutions, associate research implementing institutions, and other participating organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These specimens and data can be utilized for a wide range of research purposes, including the elucidation of disease mechanisms, the identification of factors associated with disease severity and prognosis, the improvement of diagnostic and treatment methods, and research contributing to the development of pharmaceuticals and other medical products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By promoting the broad use of these specimens and data in medical research and development, the iCROWN repository aims to advance not only the field of infectious diseases but also medical science as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"kihon\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Basic Utilization Policy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span data-fontsize=\"16px\" style=\"font-size: 16px;\" class=\"vk_inline-font-size\">Utilization is available to researchers affiliated with research institutions and companies in Japan.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span data-fontsize=\"16px\" style=\"font-size: 16px;\" class=\"vk_inline-font-size\"><span data-fontsize=\"16px\" style=\"font-size: 16px;\" class=\"vk_inline-font-size\">Research results obtained utilizing specimens and data from the iCROWN repository belong to the user.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span data-fontsize=\"16px\" style=\"font-size: 16px;\" class=\"vk_inline-font-size\">When publishing research results, users are required to acknowledge the utilization of data from the iCROWN repository and include a mention in the methods section.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Usage fees are free for both corporate and academic organizations for research that is consistent with the iCROWN repository\u2019s purpose. The iCROWN Administrative Office will begin operations as soon as the specimen<br>collection system is in place.<br>*2 In addition, we accept specimens from other research projects, information
